Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee is visiting the location at Graffiti Wall, where TxDOT is moving forward with the demolition of 375 housing units disregarding the Federally mandated pause on the expansion of I-45.
The event is being held at the Lofts at Ballpark, beginning at 10 a.m.
TxDOT released the following statement regarding the lofts at the ballpark:
“Delaying demolition of the Lofts at the Ballpark presents significant public health and safety concerns and would require resources to keep the buildings secured.”
