Peak Oil and Car Dependence

Assuming one lives in a car-centric city, peak oil should be of even more concern to you.

With the impossibility of commuting in such cities, economic collapse seems even more plausible.

It's probably a good idea to keep this topic in mind if one is living in such a designed city.
