- Germany and Japan announce their evacuation plans have failed in Khartoum as both tried to evacuate at least 210 civilians and citizens from the embattled capital. (New York Times) (Reuters)
- Several thousand civilians flee the Sudanese capital, Khartoum breaking UN-given rules to stay at home and seek shelter, some are reported to have possibly died as most of the city's borders are embattled completely, according to TRT World, the thousands include a large group of women and children and men. - Thousands of Sudanese civilians cross the (872 mile) long international closed border of Chad as refugees and are detained, according to the Chadian Defence Minister Daoud Yaya Brahim, who also states "Today, thousands of refugees are crossing our border to seek protection. We have no choice but to welcome and protect them". (TRT World)
- The Chad National Army detain and disarm a contingent of 320 Sudanese troops who crossed the closed border, according to Chadian Defence Minister Daoud Yaya Brahim who also announces "The situation in Sudan is worrying and deplorable, we have taken all the necessary measures in the face of this crisis". - The United States announces that sanctions will be imposed in Sudan in the future against both warring armies. (Foreign Policy)
- Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno says that Japan will send a Self-Defense Forces aircraft to evacuate 60 Japanese nationals from Sudan. (Asahi Shimbun)
