You need to befriend them a bit first. Then once you positively predisposed them towards yourself the chance of them joining increases a lot. You explain them the project ect

This strategy is the only method for us to attract members rn.

I don't think we can just advertise and expect people to join with how the forum is rn

Bodybuilding forums would be a good place to advertise
