News Woman found dead in pool near Woodforest in east Harris Co., HCSO says

A woman has been pronounced dead after she was found unresponsive in an east Harris County pool.

According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the woman’s body was found in the 14200 block of Duncannon near Woodforest on Saturday.

Gonzalez said upon arrival, units found an adult female’s body unresponsive in the pool.

Medics administered CPR at the scene. She was transported to the hospital and later pronounced dead.

It is unclear if the woman drowned, or if her body was found after another incident.
