News Suspect injured in officer-involved shooting in southwest Houston, HPD says

A suspect has been injured after an officer-involved shooting in southwest Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting at 6721 Langdon Lane around 11:30 a.m.

Police said a man forced himself inside a home and was throwing things around before the shooting took place.

According to the Houston Police Officer’s Union, two officers were involved in the shooting but are doing OK.

The suspect’s condition was not immediately released.
