Story Static charges from work

Whenever I'm at work (kitchen in fast food chain) I build up a ton of static charge. I often feel the electric shocks when touching metal things. When I get home my clothes are very charged and takeing them off generates the sound of shocks and I feel the fields on my skin. This morning I put on a 95% cotton shirt that i wore yesterday and it was still extremely charged up, I didn't even wear it to work but put it on after I was done with work. Oh also my work is a healthmin because the kitchen is hot and the cooking creates toxins in the air.

maybe from the friction of my shoes walking on the floor, im not an expert on electricity

i think its comeing from my polyester uniform, i constantly get shocked while wearing it and touching conductors
