SpaceX on Thursday morning put another batch of Starlink satellites in low-Earth orbit with a Falcon 9 rocket launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
WKMG in Orlando reported that the two-stage rocket carried and deployed a payload of 53 internet satellites to the upper limits of the atmosphere in the company’s 50th Starlink launch.
The launch took off at 9:11 a.m. with 80% favorable weather conditions, according to the 45th Weather Squadron.
B1058 — the booster used in Tuesday’s Starlink Group 4-21 mission — made its 13th flight and successfully landed on the “Just Read the Instructions” autonomous drone ship.
In addition to being the company’s 50th Starlink launch, Thursday’s mission also marked SpaceX’s 28th flight in 2022.
