A video taken inside of a small business that sells phones shows a man taking two cell phone as an employee is distracted and then he runs out.
Police said it isn’t the first time the thief has targeted a smaller cellphone business and not a large chain store.
The owner of the store, R.J., said the suspect drives an older model Nissan with a temporary license tag affixed to it.
“It’s hard out there for everyone. You know, get a job. Just yesterday, he went to our other location in Sunrise and took off,” the owner of Phone Repair Guy said. It’s happened three times in a week, the owner said.
R.J. has a message for the brazen thief who he says is picking on the little guy.
“Stop the stealing. It hurts other people. It’s not hurting big companies. It’s just a small-time company.”
