Houston police are searching for a suspect who is on the run after allegedly stealing an ambulance, then crashing the emergency vehicle in southwest Houston.
According to HPD, ambulance #25 was stolen from Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center around 10:15 a.m.
It was traced to the southwest side of town and spotted near Harwin and Wilcrest.
The suspect crashed into a parked, unoccupied vehicle, then jumped out and fled on foot.
