Chilling new video shows the moments leading up to a deadly police-involved shooting that happened Monday night in northwest Miami-Dade County.
In the video, a man in a white shirt with something in his hand can be seen walking toward a Miami-Dade police cruiser.
Within seconds, an officer can be seen with his weapon drawn.
The man in the white shirt is shot and falls to the pavement.
Other video shows the tense moments afterwards, with officers performing CPR on the man.
That man has been identified by family members as 73-year-old Ernesto Battle.
Authorities said it was Battle who called 911, saying that what he told dispatchers was disturbing.
When two officers arrived outside this home near Northwest 114th Street and 17th Avenue, authorities said Battle did not comply with their attempts to disarm him and pointed this weapon toward the officers.
