A man is accused of pointing a gun at a 7-year-old boy who broke his window while playing ball at an apartment complex in Humble on Sunday, according to court records.
Jonathan Ortiz, 20, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Court records show that the child was playing outside when his ball accidentally struck Ortiz’s window. Ortiz then confronted the boy with a pistol.
The child reportedly put his hands in the air while Ortiz held him at gunpoint.
Ortiz appeared in court Tuesday and his bond was set at $40,000.
