A man was arrested and charged for his role in the shooting death of another man Saturday in southwest Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.
Cedric Brown, 23, was been charged with murder for the shooting death of a man. The victim’s identity victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The shooting was reported at 10 p.m. at a business parking lot located in the 12300 block of Fondren Road.
Houston police said responding officers found a man suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. During the investigation, evidence pointed to a man wearing dark clothes who fled the southbound on Fondren after the shooting. The man was later identified as Brown. He was arrested and admitted to shooting the victim.
