The victim asked EverythingLubbock.com for a hidden identity for safety concerns. 
 
Ã¢â¬ÅThe doorbell rang once,Ã¢â¬Â the gunshot victim said. Ã¢â¬ÅI wasnÃ¢â¬â¢t going to answer because itÃ¢â¬â¢s 3:00 in the morning.Ã¢â¬Â 
 
The victim said there were a total of three doorbell rings. 
 
Ã¢â¬ÅThis time when I was looking into the peephole, I noticed brake lights in the street,Ã¢â¬Â the victim said. 
 
The victim opened the front door, and thatÃ¢â¬â¢s when a man in a ski mask popped out from around the corner with a gun. 
 
Ã¢â¬ÅI just ducked immediately and closed the door.Ã¢â¬Â 
 
The victim was wounded, but fortunately alive after the incident. 
 
Ã¢â¬ÅThey had no intention of robbing the house,Ã¢â¬Â the victim said. Ã¢â¬ÅThey just came, shot me, and then left.Ã¢â¬Â 
 
The victim had many questions after the accident and did not recognize who the two men at the door were.
