| Lubbock resident shot when answering the doorââ¬â¹ LUBBOCK, Texas ââ¬â On May 12, around 3:00 a.m. one Lubbockite answered the door, only to be shot. The victim asked EverythingLubbock.com for a hidden identity for safety concerns. ââ¬ÅThe doorbell rang once,ââ¬Â the gunshot victim said. ââ¬ÅI wasnââ¬â¢t going to answer because itââ¬â¢s 3:00 in the morning.ââ¬Â The victim said there were a total of three doorbell rings. ââ¬ÅThis time when I was looking into the peephole, I noticed brake lights in the street,ââ¬Â the victim said. The victim opened the front door, and thatââ¬â¢s when a man in a ski mask popped out from around the corner with a gun. ââ¬ÅI just ducked immediately and closed the door.ââ¬Â The victim was wounded, but fortunately alive after the incident. ââ¬ÅThey had no intention of robbing the house,ââ¬Â the victim said. ââ¬ÅThey just came, shot me, and then left.ââ¬Â The victim had many questions after the accident and did not recognize who the two men at the door were.
