The whole premise of science is that it can never be settled. Therefore, it should be under constant scrutiny otherwise you will never make any scientific advances. Nowadays, science is heavily politicized so they come out with nonsense like ''trust the science'' yet when you show these people
real science that shatters their belief system, they can't argue with you and therefore they shut you down with dismissive labels such as "conspiracy theorist".
