The Houston Police Department said the baby boy who was found alone at a southwest Houston apartment complex has been identified by family members Wednesday evening.
The infant, who family members said is 12 months old, was found around 12:40 p.m. Tuesday by a gate inside the complex, located at 10300 S. Wilcrest Drive. Police said the baby was taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries to his mouth.
Now, officers are working to locate the mom and dad who they say are not wanted for a crime at this time. The department said it will release the baby’s name when one or both of the parents have been interviewed.
