[QUOTE="KPRC2, post: 21381, member: 148"] Harris County sheriff’s deputies are investigating after they said an employee at a Jack in the Box was shot in the hand during a dispute with customers in north Harris County Thursday. HCSO units responded to reports of a shooting in the 3700 block of Aldine Mail Route Road around 10:25 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, a man with a gunshot wound to his hand was located across the street from a Jack in the Box, deputies said. The man was transported by an ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries. According to investigators, there was a vehicle in the drive-thru having some sort of verbal disturbance with employees inside the restaurant. Deputies said the argument was possibly over sauce. The male employee, who deputies said was already off the clock, was reportedly outside on the sidewalk. Investigators said he started arguing with the people inside the vehicle as they pulled out of the drive-thru. Deputies said he crossed the street and at the same time, the vehicle attempted to run him over. Both the man and the suspects in the car continued arguing, HCSO said. Deputies said a female passenger pulled out a gun and discharged the weapon at the victim. The suspects then fled the scene. An investigation is currently ongoing as deputies work to find the suspects.
