A driver was in critical condition Wednesday morning after a train collided with an 18-wheeler near Old Highway 290 and Highway 6, according to John Shannon, Harris County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Captain District 5.
The crash was reported in the 16000 block of Katy Hockley Road.
The driver was taken by Life Flight in critical but stable condition.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area as crews clean up debris and investigate the scene.
