  • Haiti’s Prime Minister Ariel Henry remains in Puerto Rico after an international trip, while unable to get back to Haiti amid gang violence. (NPR)
• Red Sea crisis
  • The Barbados-flagged bulk carrier {{MV|True Confidence||2}} is hit by a Houthi ballistic missile in the Red Sea, killing three crew members and wounding six others. The remaining crew abandon the vessel. (Reuters) (CNN)

• A Mexican Navy Eurocopter Panther helicopter crashes in the Pacific Ocean, killing three crew members and leaving two others missing. Three others are rescued and have been taken to land for medical treatment. (AP)
