I can count the people I know on my hand that have strayed from the college-to-employee path. There seems to be some taboo amongst people that prevents them from advising someone with questions of livelihood to become an owner/founder of some sort of means of production and it's quite funny since one truly cannot 'win' in capitalism without being part of the owning class.

After some research, this just seems to be an intended result of cultural hegemony.
