[QUOTE="WPLG, post: 60767, member: 158"] A 24-year-old man was arrested over the weekend in connection with a shooting that left his accomplice dead, authorities said. Pedro Nasario, of Miami, was taken into custody Saturday on a second-degree murder charge. According to his arrest report, City of Miami police officers were called to the area of 3600 Biscayne Blvd. Friday night regarding reports of a shooting in the Denny’s parking lot. Police say they found several spent casings in the rear parking lot, along with blood, broken glass and a cellphone. Officers were then dispatched to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where the two suspects who had been shot were taken, along with a witness. According to Nasario’s arrest report, he and the other suspect were shot multiple times. Police said Nasario claimed that he was meeting up with an unknown Black male in the parking lot to purchase some sneakers. He said he got into the man’s car, but the man then walked over to the rear passenger door of the vehicle and fired several shots at the other suspect, the report stated. He said he then got out of the car and the man shot him in the back, authorities said. According to Nasario’s arrest report, the witness told detectives that Nasario and his friend were both armed with guns and were trying to rob the third man. Detectives said they confirmed that accusation during the course of their investigation. Nasario’s alleged accomplice died at the hospital. His identity has not yet been released.
