News Weston middle school on lockdown, city says due to ‘student threat’

Broward Sheriff’s Office is at the scene of a middle school in Weston investigating what has been reported as a “student threat.”

The city of Weston tweeted that Falcon Cove Middle School is currently on lockdown due and that the lockdown will be lifted once the investigation is completed.

The school is located at 4251 Bonaventure Blvd.

Broward County Public Schools just returned to class on Tuesday.

Local 10 News has reached out to Broward County Public Schools and the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Weston, for more information.
