While touring the Department of Public Safety Crime Lab in Houston,
Gov. Greg Abbott promised the community of Uvalde it would get the full truth of what happened at Robb Elementary. Abbott added the recently released so-called “hallway” video is only a portion of multiple investigations into the police response to the shooting.
Bittersweet judgement day for Tim Miller

This week Miller, founder of Texas EquuSearch, won a default judgment in his 2014 wrongful death lawsuit filed against Clyde Edwin Hedrick. Galveston County judge Lonnie Cox granted Miller’s motion for default judgment on Monday and awarded him $24,365,471.23 in damages.

Impact of drought conditions in Houston area
The worst drought seen in this area in over a decade is cracking the earth and creating mini-canyons over a foot deep in some parts. While drought in some parts of southeast Texas translates to the disappearance of a river, in these parts it is much more than the loss of crops.
