Harris County Judge facing indictment?​


‘Steel-caged death match’: Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo has called out District Attorney Kim Ogg this week over the investigation into a county contract.

Now Ogg is responding and KPRC 2 Legal Analyst Brian Wice describes the back-and-forth as a ‘steel-caged death match.’


In a tweet posted by Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, the 31-year-old made it clear that she expects to face criminal charges in an ongoing investigation involving the Texas Rangers and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. It’s part of the investigation into the $11 million COVID-19 outreach contract investigation. Investigator Mario Diaz has the latest.

New twist on an old puppy scam​


Puppy scams are not new. Con artists play on your emotions with the promise of a sweet, new furry friend that, in the end, victims learn may not even exist.

Investigator Amy Davis has a new twist on the old puppy scam that uses real pictures and videos of puppies that are actually for sale. A Cypress breeder says she’s tried everything and can’t get the scammers to stop!

Lawsuit: Dealership accused of not replacing recalled airbag​


A woman severely injured during a car crash is suing the Ford Motor Company and a Brazoria County dealership over a recalled airbag she said should have been replaced long before the accident.

Investigator Robert Arnold talked with the victim about what she remembers about the day of the crash and what she hopes will happen moving forward.

Targeted towing?​


If you’ve ever left a store or business only to discover your car has been towed, you know the sinking feeling. One woman called our Investigates team after a wrecker towed her vehicle from a Pasadena apartment complex where she said she was parked in a legal spot. Amy Davis looks into the case.
