News TRAFFIC ALERT: 610 South Loop at Highway 288 shut down in both directions due to downed power lines, TxDOT says

All mainlanes at 610 South Loop are shut down near Highway 288 due to downed power lines, according to TxDOT.

TxDOT says crews from CenterPoint are making the necessary repairs and should last up to two hours.

Both directions at the frontage roads next to 610 South Loop are also shut down.

Drivers are urged to seek an alternate route.
