A man accused of stabbing a woman was found suffering from a gunshot wound when he was stopped by police after leading them on a chase in southeast Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene after reports of a woman being stabbed and a man shot on Lockhart and Colonial.
When officers arrived, the suspect took off in a vehicle and a chase pursued. When the suspect was pulled over by police, they saw that he was suffering from a gunshot wound while sitting in the driver’s seat.
Police said there was an uninjured woman sitting in the vehicle’s passenger seat during the traffic stop. The suspect was taken into police custody.
It is unknown who shot the man.
