Miami police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured early Wednesday morning.
The shooting was reported in the area of Northwest 17th Avenue and 44th Street.
According to Miami Police Officer Kenia Fallat, who is also a spokeswoman for the police department, detectives believe the motive was robbery.
She said Miami Fire Rescue transported the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in stable condition.
