The Miami Police Department has taken into custody a man who shot a female security guard on Friday.
Police said Isaac Jackie Sharpe, 47, the ex-boyfriend of the guard, was arrested on Sunday and charged with attempted felony murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
The guard was alert and conscious at the hospital and is expected to survive, police said.
