Detectives need help with solving Clayton McFarlane’s murder on Tuesday in Lauderhill.
McFarlane was killed shortly before 10 p.m., near the intersection of Northwest 52 Avenue and 25 Street, police said. According to the Lauderhill Police Department, witnesses told officers they heard arguing before a loud bang.
There were
two other fatal shootings in the same neighborhood on Feb. 1, just west of the Florida Turnpike, police said. The shootings appeared to be unrelated, police said.
A man died after he was shot at about 10 p.m. in the area of Northwest 52 Avenue and 18 Place. Another man died after a shooting at about 11 p.m., about a block away.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about McFarlane’s murder to call
Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477. There is a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
