Deputies and police officers are dealing with a “bomb threat” on Tuesday at the City College in Hollywood, police said.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office bomb squad responded to the City College building, at 6565 Taft St., to investigate a suspicious device, according to the Hollywood Police Department.
Police officers evacuated neighboring businesses and streets as a safety precaution.
According to dispatch audio, a bag had a suspicious timer that was in a room on the building’s second floor. A department spokesperson didn’t confirm the detail.
