News Deadly crash involving motorcycle reported on Eastex Freeway at Hopper, HCSO says

A person has been pronounced dead after they were reportedly involved in a crash on the Eastex Freeway Saturday evening.

According to Harris County Vehicular Crimes Division, the deadly crash involved a motorcycle in the southbound lanes of the roadway near Hopper.

It is unclear if the person who died was the motorcyclist.

Gonzalez says the lanes are currently closed as investigators work the scene.
